RMDS Florida Grant Program Established!
We are very excited to introduce for the coming winter season the RMDS Florida Grant Program for our Colorado members. Due to the generosity of a local community member, we will be offering this program for the next two years.
The RMDS Florida Development Grant has been established to provide funding for in-depth training to horse and rider pairs who show potential to develop and succeed towards the FEI levels, would like to reside and develop growth in Colorado, and who may not otherwise have the opportunity to travel, train and pursue education in Florida for a season.
This grant has been established by a local member of our community. Their desire is to support the growth and development of dressage in Colorado, increasing the depth and knowledge of our trainers and adult amateurs by allowing them the opportunity to understand and experience critical educational pieces of our sport.
Up to four grant awards will be given each year: Two grant awards for professionals and two grant awards for adult amateurs who have active AA cards with US Equestrian.
Applications for this grant are due September 22 so that we can give recipients enough notice to plan and prepare for the coming winter season.
